Dr. Vidyasagar Potdar is the Head of Policy, Planning and Business Strategy at Digital Ecosystems & Business Intelligence (DEBI) Institute, Curtin University. He is also the Director of the Anti-Spam Research Lab in DEBI Institute. His main areas of research are Information Security including areas like Web Spam, Wireless Sensor Network Security, RFID (RFID) digital watermarking, digital steganography etc. He has published over 60 international peer reviewed conference papers, refereed journal articles and book chapters. Most of his publications are in the top ranked Tier 1 conferences including IEEE. In the past, he has been invited to deliver industry courses for the benefit of Australian logistics industry and Planning and Transport Research Centre (PaTReC). He has been invited to be a member of the international program committee and has acted as a track chair and workshop organizer for a number of leading conferences such as IEEE and IFIP. He is also the Industry Track chair for IEEE AINA 2010, IEEE DEST 2010. He is currently supervising 8 full time PhD scholars in the areas of Web spam, Wireless Sensor Network Security and Social Media. |
